Intelligent detection and alert technologies

Anticipating risk.
Alerting before collision.

Human & Science develops intelligent detection and alert technologies designed to anticipate risky situations and help prevent collisions across sports, mobility and professional environments. Inspired by Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), our approach aims to strengthen situational awareness where safety depends on detecting potential hazards early.

From Guardian, our first application for rowing, to new sectors and use cases, our ambition is to make intelligent risk prevention accessible wherever it is needed.

Our first application

Guardian: helping prevent collisions on the water

Shared waterways present complex challenges involving visibility, speed and intersecting trajectories. Guardian was designed to help rowers better identify potential collision risks through an onboard alert system.

A practical approach to sports safety.

Guardian is the first application of our technology approach: designing an alert solution for a specific operational environment, then using real-world trials and user feedback to guide its development.

One technology, multiple environments

Bringing risk prevention to where it matters

A shared technological foundation, with multiple potential applications. Human & Science develops intelligent detection and alert technologies designed to anticipate hazardous situations and help prevent collisions.

Building on our first application for rowing, we aim to explore new markets by adapting our approach to the operational requirements of each environment, in collaboration with users and industry partners.

Water sports

Improving safety on the water. Exploring detection and alert applications for other water-based activities, particularly where motorised and non-motorised craft share the same environment.

Navigation and watercraft

Anticipating collision risks. Assessing potential prevention solutions for vessels operating in complex environments, including ports and waterways shared by different types of craft.

Mobility and light vehicles

Bringing alerts into mobility. Exploring applications for bicycles and other light vehicles. Developing an onboard alert system for two-wheelers is one of our potential development pathways.

Professional environments

Preventing hazardous interactions. Assessing solutions designed to detect and alert users to potentially dangerous interactions between people, vehicles and equipment in professional settings.

From innovation to real-world deployment

One technology. One method. Multiple markets.

Guardian, our first application for rowing, demonstrates our ability to design, manufacture and commercialise a detection and alert solution. This first product provides a foundation from which to explore new use cases and assess the potential of adjacent markets.

Our approach is pragmatic: build on the technological capabilities already developed while adapting each solution to the realities of its operational environment. We progress step by step, assessing user needs, technical feasibility and commercial potential before committing to wider deployment.

Are you active in an environment exposed to collision risks or hazardous interactions?

1

Understand the environment

Identify risk situations, user needs and the operational constraints specific to each activity.

2

Test in real-world conditions

Design and evaluate solutions with users and industry partners, then gather structured feedback from field trials.

3

Assess deployment potential

Evaluate performance, identify necessary adaptations and assess commercial viability before defining the next steps.

Building the next generation of intelligent safety solutions

A technology tested in the field. New markets to explore.

Human & Science develops detection and alert technologies designed to anticipate risks and help prevent collisions. With Guardian, our first application for rowing, we have established an initial foundation for extending this approach to new environments and use cases.

We are looking to engage with industrial partners, field operators and investors who share our ambition to develop practical, technology-driven risk prevention solutions.

Together, let's turn technological innovation into practical risk prevention.
